Getting to Gellivare

By Air

Gellivare is easily reached with Nextjet directly from Arlanda Airport (Stockholm) to Lapland Airport situated 10 min from Gellivare city center.

You can also reach us by flying to Kiruna from Stockholm with SAS or Norwegian . However opting for this alternative you have one hour of transport to Gellivare by taxi, train, bus or a rental car. For that we can we can recommend Hertz who offers a transfer rental car for only 950SEK.

If you choose to fly to Luleå (Kallax) from Stockholm, by SAS or Norwegian the train ride from Luleå to Gellivare will take app. 2h.

By Train

Check SJ or Train booking for connections to Gellivare from your departure area.
During summer time the Inland Railway is another alternative if you want to spend some more time traveling with a lot of experiences along the way. Contact us and we will help you book tickets.

Gellivare railway station is situated in the center of the city.

During the summer you can travel with SJ, Veolia Transport and "Lapplandståget" directly from Malmö, Göteborg and Stockholm

By Car

If you are travelling on the E4 you need to take of at TÖRE to the E10 towards Gellivare. If you are travelling on the E45 you will come directly to Gellivare.

If you're planning to travel from Gällivare by a rental car, we can help you.
